Many of the tracks from “Dust and Leather” reached awards finals, not only at Tamworth, but at festivals like Gidgee Coals and Bungendore. The most successful of the tracks is “He’s Droving Once Again”. This is a photo of “Stuart Benson”, a retired drover from Blackall in outback Queensland who was Graham's inspiration in writing such an incredible ballad. |
